The ISO 17025 is the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. Only those facilities that have complied with the standard’s management and technical requirements are given the ISO 17025 status.

An ISO 17025 certification means the laboratory has a high quality management system that is well documented and has demonstrated technical competence. Only laboratories with qualified staff, reliable procedures and equipment are granted an ISO 17025 status.

SteriPack Asia is proud to announce that they have been awarded ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008. This achievement shows great commitment from the team in SteriPack Asia as the whole building process from brown field site to the award of ISO certification took just under 14 months.

A large amount of credit must be given to our quality manager Ms. Siew Yoke Chin who worked tirelessly to get ensure that all our systems were in place to meet the requirements to pass our audit. Ms. Siew has worked in the medical device industry in Malaysia for over 10 years and brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the role.
