Pharmaceutical License For SteriPack

SteriPack’s facility in Malaysia is delighted to announce that it has received its pharmaceutical license from the Malaysian governing body to store and pack pharmaceutical products on site.

This licence will allow SteriPack to assist companies who require outsourced blister packaging services of tablets and capsules for the pharmaceutical and allied healthcare industries worldwide.

SteriPack’s purpose built cGMP compliant Grade D facility is equipped to suit varying requirements allowing flexibility for our customers. Procedures and controls of the facility are in line with the most stringent of requirements but flexible to accommodate customer models as required.

The ISO 17025 status is the highest level of recognized quality any testing or calibration laboratory can attain. With SteriPack’s new ISO 17025-certified status and its reputation as a highly competent and reliable testing laboratory it makes a prime choice for all your testing requirements.

ZipLock Bags Coming Soon.

SteriPack will shortly enhance its product portfolio with a new dedicated machine for manufacturing ZipLock closed packaging.
The ZipLock purpose built machine will be positioned at SteriPack’s class 100,000 cleanroom facilities and will be capable of Cleanroom Manufacturing Ziplock bags in up to 4 colours.

The SteriVent Bag consists of a polyethylene bag with optional uncoated tyvek port. The tyvek ports are oriented to allow gas to vent into the extremities of the bag and offers improved aeration and degassing for sterilisation cycles. The front of the bag with the tyvek ports can be printed in up to four colours with a customised customer artwork. The Bags can also be designed to meet specific barrier and performance requirements for the end user depending on the material selected and end application. This product can be used in the food ingredients market, such as mushroom spawn products, where air is required. It can also be used in medical and pharmaceutical applications in ETO and radiation sterilisation applications.

SteriPack Asia is proud to announce that they have been awarded ISO 13485:2003 and ISO 9001:2008. This achievement shows great commitment from the team in SteriPack Asia as the whole building process from brown field site to the award of ISO certification took just under 14 months.

A large amount of credit must be given to our quality manager Ms. Siew Yoke Chin who worked tirelessly to get ensure that all our systems were in place to meet the requirements to pass our audit. Ms. Siew has worked in the medical device industry in Malaysia for over 10 years and brings a vast amount of knowledge and experience to the role.
